Who is the data controller

The data controller is RR Trading Global Limited, 566 London Road, Grays, RM20 3BJ, United Kingdom. Once your enquiry is passed to an independent roofing company, that company is a separate data controller for its own use of your details.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to understand your enquiry and pass it on:

• Your name, telephone number and email address.
• The full address of the property, including postcode.
• Details of the roofing work, property type, your relationship to the property, urgency, description and any photographs you upload.
• Your preferred contact time and the consents you give.
• Technical and marketing information such as your IP address, browser type, the page you arrived on, the referring website and advertising campaign identifiers.

How we use your information

We use your enquiry to verify your details with you, to identify an independent roofing company that covers your area and carries out that type of work, and to pass your enquiry to that company so it can contact you. We also use it to respond to messages you send us, to keep records, to prevent misuse and to measure how well our advertising works.

Our lawful bases are your consent (for passing your enquiry to a roofing company and for optional marketing email), our legitimate interests (operating, securing and improving the service) and legal obligation (record keeping).

Who we share it with

We share your enquiry with one or more independent roofing companies so they can contact you about the work you described. We also use service providers who process data on our behalf, including hosting and database providers, our email delivery provider, cloud file storage for the photographs you upload, and analytics and advertising platforms where you have consented.

We do not sell your personal information for unrelated marketing purposes.

Analytics and advertising

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to run the service and to deal with any questions or disputes, normally up to 24 months from your enquiry, and longer where the law requires it. Photographs are held in private storage and removed with the enquiry record.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, to withdraw consent, and to receive it in a portable form. Security

Enquiry data is stored in access-controlled databases and photographs are stored privately. Only authorised staff can view enquiry records.
